As parents, many of us know that the Bible teaches good moral values, but we think it is outdated. But this is untrue. In fact, the ignorance of Biblical principles and not applying them are the reasons for so many emotional and social issues encountered by today’s families.
We have the awesome responsibility of bringing up our children. Yet, we are not prepared adequately. For this reason, the Biblical Parenting Series address challenges parents face in a cosmopolitan world. It draws on time-tested Biblical principles as well as present-day research in psychology to help us understand the affective, cognitive, and behavioural aspects of raising a family.
The Biblical Parenting Series has two parts — Early Childhood Development and Adolescent Development. Depending on the ages of their children, parents may choose to attend either one.
Course Structure
There are three sessions in the Early Childhood Development series suitable for parents with children from birth to about six years old.
